Are you accessing the databases through the library website? Ebsco Host is the provider of a number of databases in our collection. You have access to a number of providers and databases, however.
If you select the" Databases Tab" on the library website (library.ncc.edu) and select Academic Search Complete off of the A-Z list you will be in the most comprehensive Ebsco database.
When entering a search in Academic Search Complete for instance (as well as any other database) you should select the box "Full Text" before running your search in order to weed out results that do not contain the full text. If your subject is very specialized (or narrow) you can click on "Databases Homepage" above the A-Z again and select "Databases by Subject" and select your subject area for a list of the most suitable databases .
