You can use a citation generator like KnightCite.
Go to knightcite.com
Pick MLA at the top.
Select the item you are citing, for instance periodical/magazine.
Enter all the information correctly.
Where it says, did you find this online, check Yes. Then when it says did you find it from a database say yes if you did. Then type in the name of the database.
Finally, when all the information is filled in, click submit and your citation will appear. You can cut and paste this into a word document.
For a web document, select that choice and follow the form as above.
