The easiest place to start is with our Search All. This service searches most of our online resources as well as our book book catalog. On the Library homepage, library.ncc.edu, ou will see a big search box in the middle of the photo. Click on advanced search. Then in the first box, enter coming of age ceremonies. In the second box, enter Japan. You will have to log in with your N# and PIN if you are home to view full text results. The results will be ebooks, articles, videos. etc. You can open the table of contents of ebooks and see the chapter you need. You can do the same search but instead of Japan put United States in the second box. Of course in the US there are many different coming of age ceremonies depending on the culture of the individual.
To limit to a certain source type, scroll down on the left side of the page and you will see Source types. Put a check in the box of the source type you wan to use and click update.
