If in doing research you come across the title of a book and you don’t think the library owns it, first double check either the library’s NASCAT catalog or the SearchAll discovery system for availability in either print or ebook format. If you still can’t find the book speak to a librarian who can help you search the public libraries in the area for a copy.  Your final option to get a book not owned by the NCC Library is to use our interlibrary loan service known as ILLiad.  Use the libanswer that explains how to create an ILLiad account and request books or consult one of our librarians for assistance.  It is important to remember that it may take as long as one week or more to obtain a book or multimedia item through interlibrary loan once you have placed your request.  Make sure that you have left enough time to use interlibrary loan as an option.
