You can use our Search All tool on the Library's homepage, http://library.ncc.edu.  It searches all our databases and our catalog at once.

In the search box, enter your search term. Put phrases in quotation marks and connect terms with the word and. For instance, "global warming" and "polar ice caps" . You will get many resources.  Look for ones that are full text, but if they are not, click the 360 link to see if they are in another source.  You will get magazines, journals, newspapers and even some ebooks.

If you want to limit your results to just newspapers or just magazines, use the limiters on the left side of your results page. Be sure to click Update.

Your can also use a specific database related to your subject for more precise results. Click on Databases by Subject and select a subject.  You will find the top databases for that area.
